Overview

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Environmental Consultant to join our team. As an Environmental Consultant, you will work with clients to assess environmental impacts, develop sustainable practices, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. This role requires expertise in environmental science, regulatory compliance, project management, and stakeholder engagement to deliver effective solutions that promote environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Environmental Assessments and Impact Studies:
    • Conduct environmental assessments, site investigations, and impact studies to evaluate potential environmental risks and impacts.
    • Analyze data, collect samples, and assess environmental conditions (e.g., air quality, water quality, soil contamination).
    • Prepare environmental impact reports, assessments, and mitigation plans in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Permitting:
    • Interpret and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations (e.g., EPA regulations, NEPA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act).
    • Assist clients in obtaining environmental permits, approvals, and licenses for development projects.
    • Coordinate with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and community groups to facilitate permit applications and environmental approvals.
  • Environmental Management Systems (EMS):
    • Develop and implement Environmental Management Systems (EMS) to monitor, manage, and mitigate environmental impacts.
    • Conduct environmental audits and assessments to evaluate EMS effectiveness and compliance with environmental standards.
    • Provide guidance on sustainable practices, pollution prevention, and resource conservation strategies.
  • Sustainability Consulting:
    • Advise clients on sustainability initiatives, renewable energy solutions, and carbon footprint reduction strategies.
    • Develop sustainability plans and green building certifications (e.g., LEED) to promote environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.
    • Conduct lifecycle assessments (LCA) and sustainability performance evaluations for projects and operations.
  • Project Management and Client Advisory:
    • Lead environmental consulting projects from inception through completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget.
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on environmental issues, best practices, and regulatory changes.
    • Communicate project findings, recommendations, and outcomes to clients through reports, presentations, and stakeholder meetings.
