Nobis Group

Environmental Project Engineer/Scientist/Geologist/Hydrogeologist (VT)

Nobis Group Vermont, United States

Are you passionate about making a positive impact through innovative engineering & environmental solutions? Are you interested in being part of a company dynamic that fosters continuous learning, professional growth, and a supportive environment where your ideas are not just welcomed, but celebrated?

We are looking for a motivated project team member to plan and/or design environmental projects including assessment, characterization, investigation, design, remediation, and/or permitting of facility, property, or site that may or is suspected to contain contaminants within the soil, groundwater, air, and/or other media. This is a position working in the State of Vermont (and on projects throughout the Northeast US).

Nobis Group is 100% Employee-Owned and that makes you an owner. As a Nobis Employee-Owner, you will become part of a team that thrives on diversity of thought, encourages out-of-the-box ideas, and strives to fulfill our mission.

If you have a four-year degree or a master’s degree in science or engineering (e.g. Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Earth Science, or related field), at least 3-years of related experience, and knowledge and experience with State regulations in Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut and/or New York, we want to talk to you!

We offer highly competitive salaries, generous paid time off, and a flexible hybrid schedule that allows our employees to maintain a comfortable balance between life and work. In addition to our extensive benefits package, you will have access to all the advantages and opportunities that come with working for an ESOP.

The Nobis Bond

The Nobis Bond encompasses the principles that guide how we treat each other, how we make decisions, and how we serve our clients. It defines our mission, our vision, and our values.

We build this bond by:

  • embracing our differences and celebrating what each and every one of us brings to the table;
  • working cohesively on exciting and challenging projects for exceptional clients;
  • sharing our experiences and expertise during “Tech Tuesday” luncheons and through our Mentorship Program;
  • volunteering side-by-side in our Nobis communities and getting paid to volunteer individually in our own communities;
  • shaping our company spirit by participating on internal crews to plan fun social events, promote health & wellness, and award our STEM Scholarship to local high school students;
  • and kicking back with some snacks and a drink while we catch up with each other and cheers to a job well done each week.

If you want the opportunity to make a difference through meaningful work while in the camaraderie of some of the most skilled, accomplished, and, dare we say, charming professionals in our industry, you’re in the right place at Nobis.

If you agree that achieving job satisfaction and personal fulfillment don’t have to be mutually exclusive aspirations, you’re in the right place at Nobis.

If the caliber of people you work with is just as important as the quality of work that you do, you’re in the right place at Nobis.

Join us in shaping a world where engineering excellence meets environmental consciousness – join us at Nobis Group!
