How will you make an impact in this role?
The Strategic Partnerships (SP) team is charged with leveraging the Company’s largest, most strategic partnerships to bring innovation and additional value to American Express’ suite of products, services, capabilities, and experiences that engage customers and drive generational relevance of American Express Membership.
The new Sports and Entertainment team within Strategic Partnerships is tasked with partnering across the enterprise to bring additional strategic planning, relationship and negotiating expertise to our largest global sponsorship partners (AEG, F1, W/NBA, USTA, Wimbledon), managing marquee strategic partner events (e.g. annual Partner Summit), and leading a market strategy initiative for the Las Vegas market.
The Executive Assistant in this role will support three Vice Presidents on the SP team – one Band 50 and two band 45s. The colleague will be instrumental in the team’s organization and ensuring compliance across team operations.

Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of previous experience as an Executive Assistant and familiarity with office management and team administration
- Strong compass for using discretion and maintaining confidentiality
- Motivated, proactive team player with strong initiative, organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy, quality and timeliness
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work within deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to interact effectively and diplomatically with executives and Executive Assistants across the organization and externally
- Solid verbal and written communication skills (via phone, email, and in-person)
- Proficiency using MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as internal AXP (or related) tools and systems – Outlook, Ariba, Concur, Payroll and myHR
- Thorough knowledge of AXP policies and office procedures
