Job Summary: The Executive Recruiter is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top executive talent for senior leadership positions within the organization. This role requires deep expertise in executive search, including sourcing high-caliber candidates, conducting thorough assessments, and managing complex recruitment processes. The Executive Recruiter works closely with the executive team and hiring managers to ensure that the organization’s leadership needs are met with the highest level of talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Search Strategy:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive executive search strategies to attract senior-level candidates who align with the organization’s goals and culture.
    • Partner with the executive team and senior leadership to understand the specific requirements of each executive role and create detailed job descriptions and candidate profiles.
    • Utilize a wide range of sourcing methods, including networking, industry events, executive search firms, and direct outreach, to identify and engage with top executive talent.
  • Candidate Sourcing and Screening:
    • Conduct in-depth sourcing to identify potential candidates, leveraging industry knowledge, professional networks, and online platforms.
    • Screen and assess candidates’ qualifications, leadership capabilities, and cultural fit through comprehensive interviews and evaluations.
    • Develop and maintain a pipeline of high-potential executive candidates for current and future leadership needs.
  • Candidate Engagement and Experience:
    • Build strong relationships with executive candidates, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the recruitment process.
    • Provide candidates with detailed information about the company’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
    • Manage the entire candidate experience, ensuring clear and consistent communication, timely feedback, and a seamless recruitment process.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with the executive team, hiring managers, and HR leadership to ensure alignment on recruitment strategies, candidate profiles, and hiring decisions.
    • Provide expert guidance on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and talent acquisition best practices to inform decision-making.
    • Facilitate executive interviews, debrief sessions, and final selection meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Offer Management and Negotiation:
    • Lead the offer process, including compensation package negotiations, benefits discussions, and employment contract finalization.
    • Provide counsel to the executive team on competitive compensation strategies to secure top talent.
    • Ensure a smooth and successful onboarding process for new executive hires, including coordinating with HR and other departments.
  • Employer Branding and Networking:
    • Promote the company’s brand as an employer of choice among executive talent through networking, industry events, and thought leadership.
    • Represent the company at high-profile industry conferences, seminars, and networking functions to build the company’s reputation and attract top executive talent.
    • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the company’s executive recruitment brand and visibility.
  • Data and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze key executive recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and diversity outcomes, to assess the effectiveness of search strategies.
    • Prepare reports and presentations on executive recruitment activities, market insights, and candidate pipelines for HR leadership and the executive team.
    • Use data-driven insights to continuously refine executive search strategies and improve recruitment outcomes.
  • Compliance and Confidentiality:
    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations throughout the executive recruitment process.
    • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive candidate and company information.
    • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in executive recruiting or senior-level talent acquisition, with a proven track record of successfully placing senior executives.
  • Extensive experience in executive search methodologies, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment.
  • Strong understanding of leadership competencies, executive compensation, and market trends.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage complex recruitment processes with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and executive search tools.
