Atlas Spine is a medical device company that designs and manufactures spinal implants. Atlas is on an exciting growth curve and needs an ambitious energetic contributor with vast accounting experience in a manufacturing setting. The Accountant will be responsible for the following:
Work Elements:
- Bookkeeping
- Cost control
- Inventory accounting analysis and reporting
- Payroll, employee expense reports
- Accurate and timely month-end close activities including, but not limited to estimates, accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Manage account payables and receivables, process bill payments, billings
- Participate in budgets, forecasts, cash flow report preparation
- Participate in tax reporting, support preparation, audit/review, and tax payments
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
- Safeguard assets and ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing disciplines of internal audits, controls, and checks across all departments
- Ensure compliance with all internal processes
- Prepare various other reports as required by management
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- At least 5 years of accounting experience
- Cost control, inventory management
- Excellent PC skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and QB required
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective oral and written communication
