Internship Overview

Position Summary:

The Strategic Development and Supply Chain Intern will provide support and analysis for the Strategic Development and Supply Chain departments. The position is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in learning more about many areas of a trade publishing company in relation to strategic development and the supply chain, including sales, publicity, marketing, analytics, finance, inventory, and contracts.

Responsibilities Include

  • Drafting pitch and business review presentations
  • Business Intelligence Analysis and Verification
  • Analyzing Metadata Results
  • Participating in company anniversary and book celebrations (including internal marketing and merchandising)
  • Running sales and inventory reports
  • Overseeing special projects and doing analysis as assigned
  • Providing general administrative support

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, and Adobe, with the ability to apply that knowledge to ABRAMS’ proprietary programs, software, and databases. Knowledge of Python and SQL a plus.
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Must be organized, detail oriented with ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Excellent prioritizing skills and judgment
  • Strong interest in working in a fast-paced environment.
