Calcium+Company is seeking a creative to join our Copy team, headquartered in Philadelphia, this Fall. This co-op will provide you with the opportunity to observe and learn the workings and daily activities of a growing, dynamic advertising agency. You will work closely with the Copy Supervisor.
Key Job Responsibilities
As an intern, you will assist with the following:
Collaborate with the Art team to solidify the creative process and work with strategy to align brand messages
Understand the healthcare space and how to write thought-provoking copy that inspires doctors and patients
Create a manuscript by working within the Ca+Co template and the parameters of a project brief, asking questions where necessary
Self-edit by reviewing your writing for clarity
Hone your presentation skills
Receive and synthesize constructive, creative feedback
Master the routing process, implementing changes as needed, and keeping projects moving
Collect research using reputable sources and how to apply them to bolster the messages you create
Annotate and submit messaging for legal review using Veeva
Qualifications
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Full-time rising junior or rising senior, currently enrolled at an accredited 4-year College or University studying Advertising, Creative Writing, Communications, or similar field
Strong organizational and planning skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Passionate about marketing and digital strategy, knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
Highly collaborative; team player
Self-starter; able to juggle multiple projects at once
Ability to be nimble and adjust priorities based on Company and client needs
Willingness to go beyond what is described in the job description and be flexible for the team and, ultimately, the work
