Field Sales Engineer (Aftermarket)

Position Overview

RecruitGo is searching for a Field Service Engineer to work with our client based in India. Our client has been offering Industrial steam turbine solutions globally. The range of steam turbines comprises backpressure and condensing that are easily customized to suit segment-specific and customer-specific needs.

Responsibilities

  • Independently execute overhauling, troubleshooting, and retrofitting jobs at customer sites for our installed turbines
  • For customer complaints, visit the customer site, diagnose the problem, and provide them on appropriate solutions
  • Ability to assess steam turbine performance/efficiency and advise customers on Preventive Maintenance and efficiency improvement solutions
  • Developing initiatives for retaining customers through service enhancements, additional services, and service offerings by Triveni
  • Executing AMC jobs at customer sites
  • Visit customer sites and generate inquiries for predictive maintenance, repairs, insurance, consumption, and spare parts
  • Update the time sheets and details in Sales Force(SFDC)
  • Follow up and coordinate with internal departments for execution of jobs at customer sites
  • Provide precise information to the engineering, proposals, execution, supply chain, and other teams involved to provide back-end support
  • Providing service proposal to the customer for the inquiry received

Qualifications

  • Should have 7-8 years of prior experience in overhauling/ troubleshooting of steam turbine and its auxiliaries
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with Diploma
