This position will be supporting Preventative Maintenance Medical (a subsidiary of Prescott's, Inc.) Our comprehensive range of services includes equipment repair, maintenance, and management solutions, ensuring that healthcare professionals have the tools they need to provide the highest level of care.

This position will provide on-site maintenance, and repair of Medical and Laboratory equipment in Tampa/Orlando, FL and surrounding areas.

As a Field Service Specialist, you will be an integral part of our team, providing technical support and exceptional service to our customers. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction. With your expertise and dedication to customer service, you will contribute to the success and growth of our business.

Responsibilities

  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of Medical and Laboratory Sterilization and Disinfection equipment at customer locations
  • Create and maintain relationships with customers to better understand and achieve their needs
  • Identify and visit new customers to create opportunities for growth within our platform
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections per OEM specifications
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs
  • Ensure quality standards are met by conducting rigorous testing and calibration of equipment
  • Provide technical support to customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records and documentation; manage all reporting about the health of customer's accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills
  • Occasional travel to customer sites for additional training, support, or installations
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 0-2+ years of experience in field service or a similar role
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting skills in mechanical systems
  • Experience with medical equipment preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and schedules
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Familiar with using diagnostic tools and software
  • Willingness and ability to travel
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 40 pounds)
