Caron Products is a leading provider of laboratory equipment to the pharmaceutical, biotech, government, academic and industrial markets.
The ideal candidate will have a wide range of responsibilities including maintenance, repair, and calibration of field equipment in . The successful candidate will be a problem solver who is responsive to customers' needs. Territory will be primarily based in California, but may include other regions depending on customer demand.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities would include performing equipment installations, repairs, preventative maintenance, calibrations, and performance validations to documented standards.
Complete on-site system audits and evaluations of equipment.
Test and Certify Biological Safety Cabinets and Chemical Fume hoods.
Physical requirement includes the ability to push or pull more than 100lbs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and technical training, certification in a technical field.
Experience with reading electrical schematics and other technical drawings.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems in a field setting
Requires excellent time management skills
Requires excellent verbal skills and the ability to interact with our customers.
Ability to independently schedule and coordinate business travel
Must be able to lift 75+ lbs
Valid driver’s license with clean driving history required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel
Travel schedules usually have our technicians home for weekends, with rare requests for traveling weekends.
