Summary
Ontivity Tower Hands support all aspects of telecommunications installation including the erection, construction, and maintenance of telecommunications towers and structures. This is a safety sensitive position with daily objectives that include ensuring work is performed in accordance with all safety and quality guidelines and expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Field Duties (70-80% of work time):
Perform Inspections/Repairs and Tower Mappings on telecommunication towers per TIA/R56 Standards
Willingness to frequently climb towers in excess of 200 ft
Ability to travel up to 4 weeks at a time
Must have labor-intensive attitude and be capable of climbing towers, water tanks or rooftops and the physical ability to scan, probe, and dig to obtain dimensions on guyed, SST, and Monopole towers
Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate and safe manner
Adhere to all company and industry standard/regulations (OSHA, TIA, etc.)
Ability to work independently and under limited supervision
Office Duties (20-30% of work time, can be remote)
Complete detailed reports, sketches, and photo logs in electronic formats using a computer
Remote Pilot Certification (Small UAS Part 107) or willingness to obtain within the first 3 months
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
0-2 years of relative field experience within the Telecommunication Industry
