Movember is dedicated to changing the face of men's health. We’re currently seeking a passionate Finance Manager to join our LA based team.

About the role

This is an exciting, broad role that encompasses the full spectrum of financial services from day-to-day finance requirements, to monthly reporting, and acting as a trusted partner to the Country Director and senior leadership team to help them forecast, budget, analyze, manage, grow, and optimize their functions.

Key areas include

• Analysis of results, measurement of KPIs and accountability for all aspects of the US P&L
• Financial accounting/statutory/tax/payroll responsibilities for the US legal entity; and
• Providing accounting, reconciliation and reporting support to the Movember HQ

The role requires a business partner who can work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, across competing priorities, and has the flexibility to quickly understand a broad variety of accounting requirements.

You’ll have the opportunity to

• Proactively partner with P&L owners to provide support in decision making; build business cases, identify new investment or cost containment opportunities and optimize internal processes.
• Investigate, analyse, and explain variances in P&L reporting.
• Compile and report financial data, KPIs, and analysis to P&L owners and the Head of Commercial Performance.
• Work closely with the People team to inform headcount, hiring, and compensation decisions.
• Manage and facilitate the annual budgeting process with P&L owners.
• Monitor budget performance, highlight issues monthly, and provide functional leads with budget line items for review.
• Work with US audit firms to ensure timely delivery and audit preparation (schedules & financial statement reporting).
• Meet all compliance and tax requirements.
• Execute payroll through ADP.
• Own partnerships accounting process, monitor contracts for billing dates, issue invoices, and ensure timely receipt of payments.

For this role, you’ll need

• 5+ year's experience in a similar role
• Strong communication and business partnering
• Flexibility to work with a global team across multiple time zones
• Extremely proficient using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
• Superior attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Have a positive, can-do approach to finding and implementing creative solutions

Bonus points for

• CPA designation
• Working knowledge of NetSuite, Concur, ADP and/or Board
• Experience in the NFP and/or healthcare sector
• Experience partnering with auditors and understanding of charity submissions to regulators and rating agencies
