Our client is a well-funded Technology firm, with a vibrant culture seeking a VP/ Finance Manager (Reporting to CFO) to help scale & build accounting and finance function
Ideal candidate will be tasked with leading strategic planning and financial operations (budgeting planning & analysis), working directly with CFO and Senior Leadership Team with regards to all strategic decision making. Client is seeking a big picture individual who is solutions oriented and can execute improving efficiencies of financial process.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and lead the companies financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, auditing and financial operations
Uphold upward management of deadlines and tasks with the CEO for execution, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
Generate Pro Forma Financials to support business planning and decision-making.
Fully develop and manage operating and capital budgets.
Analyze information, forecasts revenue against expenses, and creates an annual budget and capital plans.
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to achieve the Company’s short- and long-term business objectives and deliver the highest quality and service to our customers.
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Sales, Operations, Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Human Resources on various initiatives impacting the financial reporting of the company including all financial metrics and KPI’s
Develop and drive necessary financial policies, procedures, and internal controls, and play a leading role in directing change initiatives and process improvements
Create executive presentations of financial results for review with senior executives
Identify risks, implement controls, and maintain proper process documentations
Provide support for other ad hoc analyses and projects as needed
Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree is a must, CPA preferred not required
Proven ability to lead, promote and inspire change while creating followership and inspiring teams
Proven track record of success in business development, strategy, and leadership.

Superior communication skills - ability to synthesize and structure complex information and deliver it clearly with the right level of detail depending on the audience
Ability to influence in a matrixed environment to achieve outcomes without direct responsibility through strong story telling & quantitative and qualitative evidence
