Job Overview
The purpose of this team is to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical financial analyst is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Help the Financial Analyst and model of the supply chain team
- Run strategic financial model to make informed decisions and provide that to the leadership team in terms of an interpreted summary/story/presentation/PowerPoint
- Contribute to focusing a new product in the cloud/cloud hardware
- Develop financial models and analysis (spreadsheet tables, graphs, charts, etc.) used to illustrate technical reports
- Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions
- Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability, and future trends in investment risks
- Present oral and written reports on general economic trends, individual corporations, and entire industries
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required; an advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred
- 5-7 years of financial and/or accounting experience required
- Prior MSFT Experience in the past is a HUGE PLUS
- Background with financial modeling and analysis through Excel
- Experience in Project Management Skills (knows how to manage multiple projects and priorities and do that in a timely manner)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and critical thinking
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
- Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses
- Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data
- Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to accounting
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software
