(100% Remote) Financial Analyst

Job Description

Develops and maintains the work breakdown structure for projects within the accounting system to ensure financial activities of contract performance are recorded and reportable in accordance with applicable regulatory guidance and contract terms. Assists in the preparation, coordination, and documentation of financial analysis for government and commercial contract projects. Assists in the preparation of forecasts and financial trend analysis. Individual will gain exposure to complex tasks with ability to work independently.

Hard Skills

• 2-4 years minimum in Financial Analysis experience
• Experience forecasting 3 years out
• Experience with mid-large sized companies (a couple million in revenue size)
• Government contracting experience

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Environment

This role reports to the team lead. There are 3 other Financial Analysts on the team. Fully remote but must be local to the NOVA area.
