Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Financial Analyst in Washington, DC. Duties Include:

• Financial Analyst maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded
• Review work of team
• Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger
• Prepares complex balance sheets, profit, and loss statements, and other financial reports
• Analyzes current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses
• Engage with external auditors
• As a Financial Analyst, you will develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal control
• Prepare and analyze the firm's financial statements, providing explanation of significant variances from budget for operating expenses
• Complete monthly account reconciliations for all asset and liability accounts; Research and reconcile all discrepancies in a timely manner
  
  

Requirements

• BS degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience working in Power BI or similar tool
• Organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
