Financial Analyst
Actively seeking candidates with a senior-level profile, possessing a minimum of 5 years of accounting (specifically fund accounting) and financial analysis experience within a hospital or comparable setting. It is important to note that we are not considering candidates at the Director level or higher. Please pay special attention to the highlighted requirements in the below job description when sourcing for these resources
***MUST HAVES***
Minimum Experience/Knowledge: 5 years of accounting (specifically fund accounting) AND financial analysis experience in a hospital or similar environment (Information Technology knowledge a plus)
Experience as a Senior or Lead financial/budget analyst with the ability to train and develop lower-level analysts
Experience creating, building and maintaining financial models
Experience working with a major financial ERP (i.e. Infor Lawson)
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
Experience developing new financial reports and tracking and reporting on KPI’s
Financial Analysis (be able to analyze and explain financial data)
Budget/Variance Analysis (be able to research and explain budget variances)
Excel (v-look ups, pivot tables, sum-ifs); experience creating and working with large linked excel files
Understanding of GAAP, the General Ledger, and the Chart of Accounts
Experience creating, building and maintaining financial models
Must be extremely detail oriented
Must be able to multi-task and meet multiple competing deadlines
Must be a reasonably quick learner.
Must be able to work independently under general direction.
