Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller, you will be in charge of

• preparing the Company's Financial reports,
• assisting in Compliance Audits,
• monitoring internal controls,
• managing Payroll and reviewing tax topics.

You will manage a team of 15 people, split into different departments (Administrative, Payroll, Invoicing, AP/GL)

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R and Revenue recognition, A/P, GL, from both a General and Analytical accounting point of view, for a multi-BU / multi subsidiaries environment
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings, with the support of an External Tax advisor
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Additional controller duties as necessary

Requirements and skills

• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller, with thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• 8+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience, having already managed large teams
• Advanced degree in Accounting, CPA or CMA preferred
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
• Extremely structured and organized
• Having worked into a multi–Business Units / multi Subsidiaries environment
• Financial Audit / Advisory experience preferred
