Financial Controller - Hybrid - $130-$160k + Bonus

Our client, a technological innovator in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Financial Controller to lead their financial and collaborative teams at their New Jersey location. The ideal candidate will have over five years of managing financial operations at a plant or site level and expertise with Hardware business models and ERP systems. This position has a flexible work schedule and great potential for career growth.

Compensation: $130,000-$160,000 plus Bonus

Workplace Policy: Hybrid, three days per week onsite

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all financial operations for the manufacturing site, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies
• Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to site management for improving financial performance
• Monitor and control costs to ensure the site operates within budget and meets financial targets
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records
• Lead the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements
• Support site management in strategic planning and decision-making processes by providing financial analysis and guidance
• Financial research
• Grow and mentor the site’s finance team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• MBA preferred
• 5+ years of experience in financial management within the manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes
• Proficient in ERP systems, Oracle, and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
