Under the supervision of the Library Director, the Financial Services Manager provides services for the library as assigned, including assistance in managing the library's daily operations, and oversight of its financial records.

This a full-time position at 35 hours a week

Wage is $20.00

Responsibilities:

·       Maintains the Library’s financial records

·       Collaborating with and facilitating the work of auditors

·       Prepares and maintains financial statistics and reports

·       Works scheduled desk times and assists patrons as needed

·       Other duties as assigned

·       Willing to work weekends

·       Seeks and develops grant opportunities

·       Budget Management

Qualifications:

·       BA or equivalent degree from an accredited college or university with study in accounting

·       Willing to earn certification from the Library of Michigan

·       Physical ability to push/pull fully loaded carts, retrieve or place materials above the shoulder or below knee level, and lift items to 40 pounds

·       Frequent sitting or standing for extended periods

·       Familiar with Sage or QuickBooks

·        Experience in Grant Writing
