The Goddard School located in Independence, Ohio is seeking a dedicated, warm-hearted, and caring Pre Kindergarten Teacher to join our team! This position is 5 days per week, Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing learning environment for young children.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
• Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for PreK aged children
• Monitor and assess student progress to ensure developmental milestones are met
• Collaborate with parents to support each child's growth and development
• Incorporate various learning areas such as language and math, large and small motor development, and early intervention techniques into daily lessons
• Utilize special education strategies when working with students with diverse learning needs
  
  
  

Qualifications

• CDA, Associate or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or classroom setting
• Knowledge of SUTQ best practices and early childhood development principles
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus
