Job Description

Role Summary:

NBCUniversal has an immediate opening for a talented Graphic Artist. Applicant will be required to design both still and animated elements for graphics packages, titles, photoshops, etc. The ideal person should work creatively, efficiently, and possess a great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Create graphics to support editorial content for television.
  • Participate in the design and execution of elements ranging from on-air still graphics and special campaigns to show opens and animated packages.
  • Work cooperatively with Directors, Producers, Art Directors, and Writers in creating graphics.
  • Perform any associated duties that may be assigned in relation to the completion of a project.
  • Must be capable of contributing to every phase of production, from concept development and storyboards to final renderings for delivery.
  • Ability to deliver multiple broadcast quality graphics within extreme daily deadlines.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • Degree in graphic design or related field.
  • Minimum two-year industry experience.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
  • Understanding of broadcast production.
  • Exceptional sense of design and typography.
  • Must have online reel.

Desired Characteristics

  • Minimum 2 years experience working at a network or broadcast design agency.
  • Knowledge of Cinema 4d or other 3d package a plus.
  • Willingness to work long hours and on weekends.

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generall contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
  • This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.   • Annual salary range: $100,000 - $135,000
