What would you do at Ascend?

The Growth Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in building and managing a digital ecosystem for the Ascend brand, with a strong focus on bringing tactics and execution strategies that drive marketing qualified leads, brand awareness, and competitive differentiation. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a background in SaaS marketing to create, test, and execute marketing campaigns in a quickly expanding market. The salary range for this position is $75,000-$85,000.

Your day-to-day would include:

  • Develop and execute day to day marketing campaign strategy including owning email, social, and content strategies to drive organic growth - increasing key metrics like open rates and click-through rates

  • Work closely with sales, product, and customer experience team to create and deliver consistent messaging and targeting across all channels and marketing materials

  • Oversee marketing performance for multi-channel campaigns including analyzing data across platforms and leveraging learnings and insights to optimize future campaigns

  • Create and promote content that builds Ascend’s thought leadership profile including blogs, webinars, events, and more.

  • Own prospect targeting and segmentation across specific verticals, including organization of data in Hubspot, Linkedin, Google, and more.

  • Identify new areas for opportunity, including innovative ideas and trends to test and try in the B2B space

  • Manage the company voice both internally and externally to drive long term brand awareness as well as short term conversion of prospects

What is Ascend looking for in a candidate?

  • At least 4 years of experience in the fields of digital marketing, content marketing, or email marketing ideally focusing on SaaS in the B2B or B2B2C space

  • Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize

  • Proficiency in Hubspot, Linkedin, and Google Ads platforms

  • Strong relationship builder – both cross-functionally with internal teams and externally with agency partners

  • Basic design and proven writing skills

  • Excellent communication skills and proactive desire to share performance updates, ask for help, and drive projects forward
