We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Supply Chain to lead and optimize our supply chain operations. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills to oversee end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in building a global network of suppliers, driving efficiency, and reducing costs.
What You’ll Do
Develop strategic relationships with new and existing global suppliers to work together to build world class products.
Lead negotiations, contracting, and onboarding of suppliers.
Build and manage a supply chain organization including procurement, inventory, shipping, receiving, and warehouse management functions.
Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to support new product launches and day-to-day business operations.
Who You Are
You have a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, Industrial, Software, etc)
5+ years experience working with a global supply chain, ideally with expertise in robotics, manufacturing, automotive, and/or consumer electronics.
Experience working with suppliers in Asia
Experience identifying, qualifying, and onboarding new suppliers for complex custom parts.
Experience hiring and leading a team of supply chain and procurement experts.
The position requires heavy travel, with up to 50% of the time spent visiting suppliers and vendors to ensure the seamless execution of supply chain operations.
