Position Overview:

The Head of Marketing and Creative Direction will be responsible for developing and executing a

comprehensive marketing strategy that enhances brand presence, drives customer

engagement, and supports business growth. This role requires a creative and strategic leader with a deep understanding of the footwear and lifestyle markets. The Head of Marketing and Creative Direction will work closely with product development, sales, and operations teams to ensure cohesive and impactful marketing initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

•Marketing Strategy and Vision:

o Develop and implement a holistic marketing strategy that aligns with Sanuk’s brand

vision and business objectives.

o Identify market trends, consumer insights, and competitive dynamics to drive innovative

marketing campaigns and initiatives.

o Oversee all creative direction, ensuring that the brand's visual and verbal identity is

consistent and compelling across all channels.

o Lead the development of creative concepts and campaigns that reflect Sanuk's unique

brand personality and values.

o Collaborate with the design and product teams to ensure that marketing and creative

strategies are aligned with product development and launches.

o Support and mentor the marketing and creative teams, providing guidance and

feedback to ensure high-quality output and creative excellence.

o Foster an environment of creativity and innovation within the marketing and creative

teams.

o Ensure all marketing materials and campaigns are on-brand and align with the overall

strategic goals.

o Develop and manage a cohesive brand story that resonates with target audiences and

strengthens brand loyalty.

• Brand Management:

o Strengthen and elevate Sanuk’s brand identity and positioning in the market.

o Ensure consistent and cohesive brand messaging across all marketing channels and

touchpoints.

• Digital Marketing:

o Lead digital marketing efforts including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and

content marketing to drive online engagement and sales.

o Oversee the development and execution of digital campaigns that increase brand

awareness and customer acquisition.

• Campaign Management:

o Plan, execute, and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, promotions, and

product launches.

o Collaborate with creative teams to produce high-quality marketing materials and

content.

• Partnerships and Collaborations:

o Identify and build strategic partnerships and collaborations that enhance brand visibility

and reach.

o Manage relationships with external agencies, influencers, and media partners.

• Market Research and Analytics:

o Conduct market research and analyze data to inform marketing strategies and tactics.

o Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics, providing actionable insights to

optimize campaigns.

• Team Leadership:

o Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing and creative team.

o Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that aligns with Sanuk’s values and

goals.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within

the footwear, fashion, or lifestyle industry.

• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and creative strategies.

• Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a strong analytical mindset.

• Proficient in marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, social media

management tools, and CRM software.

• Demonstrated ability to oversee creative direction and manage creative teams.

• Passion for sustainability and ethical marketing practices.
