Principal Recruitment Consultant - Investment Management at Selby Jennings
A credit focused asset manager is looking to bring on a healthcare focused corporate credit VP/Director to idea generate across liquid ad illiquid credit.
Responsibilities:
Idea generate and manage risk for a portfolio of liquid and illiquid credit investments, with a focus on the healthcare sector
Proactively identify and manage deteriorating credits
Establish and maintain relationships with the management of portfolio companies and other lenders/bondholders
Prepare and present monthly portfolio review materials to senior management
Evaluate credit agreements, indentures, and other legal documents to assess covenants and recovery prospects in the event of a default
Collaborate with third-party advisors on amendments and work-outs (including financial/restructuring advisors and legal counsel)
Stay informed about macro trends
Perform valuation and coverage analysis
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA and/or CFA is a plus but not required
5+ years of relevant experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with management, bankers, industry analysts, etc.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical, due diligence, and problem-solving skills
