Healthcare Customer Service (Remote)

Fully remote, but need to be local to the Portland, OR area to pickup equipment!

A large Healthcare Company in Beaverton, OR is hiring Member Service Specialists to join the team during Open Enrollment season!

Responsibilities

• Answer and transfer calls as necessary through our web-based phone system, around 20-50 calls during open enrollment season
• Navigate between 5-10 different applications and systems
• Supports individual members while on the phone with their accounts, including member eligibility, enrollment, premium billing, and delinquency, for both Direct and Exchange members.
• Look up member’s accounts and answer questions about payment status, eligibility status, and premium amounts, as well as how to enroll, make changes or terminate coverage
• Take payments and set up automatic recurring payments, as well as advising members how to do the same for themselves online
  
  
  

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required
• 1-2+ years of experience working in a customer service call center environment or related
• Healthcare experience not required but is a big plus
• General understanding of health insurance or healthcare is a plus
• Ability to navigate through multiple systems and screens, while typing & talking simultaneously
• Must have reliable internet and work from home space
