A large Healthcare Company in Beaverton, OR is hiring Member Service Specialists to join the team during Open Enrollment season!
Responsibilities
- Answer and transfer calls as necessary through our web-based phone system, around 20-50 calls during open enrollment season
- Navigate between 5-10 different applications and systems
- Supports individual members while on the phone with their accounts, including member eligibility, enrollment, premium billing, and delinquency, for both Direct and Exchange members.
- Look up member’s accounts and answer questions about payment status, eligibility status, and premium amounts, as well as how to enroll, make changes or terminate coverage
- Take payments and set up automatic recurring payments, as well as advising members how to do the same for themselves online
- High School diploma or GED is required
- 1-2+ years of experience working in a customer service call center environment or related
- Healthcare experience not required but is a big plus
- General understanding of health insurance or healthcare is a plus
- Ability to navigate through multiple systems and screens, while typing & talking simultaneously
- Must have reliable internet and work from home space
