Position Title: HR and Recruiting Internship
NPS Unit Name: US Park Police- Washington Metropolitan Area
Position Dates Starts: May 9, 2022
Position Description
Learning Goal The intern will learn about the United States Park Police, while assisting the agency with its employee recruitment process. The intern will work with the Recruitment section to organize and re-brand hiring resources and recruitment media, create and update communications, and prepare new recruitment materials; to include social media campaigns and video production. Theintern will gain experience in program operations, Federal budget considerations, human resources, external communications, and Federal employee hiring actions. The intern will also dentify innovative ways to attract a broader and more diverse applicant pool.
