Reporting Structure
The HR Operations Assistant reports directly to the Sr. Director, HR.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
The HR Operations Assistant will primarily report to the Sr. Director, of HR and will support the Chief People Officer. This role will work closely with the HR Associate and other HR team members.
Learn the basics of HR administration and act as a backup for payroll
Weekly HRIS reporting to HR’s business partners
Serve as a point of contact for general department questions
Assist with NY corporate office events
Own the monthly HR team meeting agenda
Ensure confidentiality when handling classified information
Complete employment verifications
Respond to unemployment claims and requests as needed
Maintain company organizational charts
Manage a complex business calendar, and prioritize incoming information and appointments for the Chief People Officer
Coordinate with board members and senior leaders
Manage administrative tasks including reports, travel arrangements, communications, offer/promotion letters, expense reports, invoicing, etc. for the Chief People Officer
Work on special projects and presentations as directed by the Chief People Officer

Qualifications/Experience We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience with administrative support either as a committee member, internship, or work experience
Interest in process improvement and operational HR functions
Exhibit discretion, judgment, tact, and poise
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent problem-solving skills
Must have excellent time management, the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, and work under strict deadlines
Must demonstrate the ability to maintain confidentiality
Must be proficientin Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
