Human Resources Business Partner
Location: Las Vegas (Travel to Arizona Required)
Reports To: VP of Human Resources
Job Summary
The HR Business Partner will assist with answering HR inquiries from employees, HR document management, support the recruiting process, contact candidates and schedule appointments, visit all offices, handle badge creation, process drug and background checks, launch HRIS onboarding, manage I-9 documentation, and provide support to the VP of HR as needed. This position requires the ability to travel to Arizona with the company vehicle a minimum of 4 times a month or as needed for business purposes.

Human Resources Business Partner

Job Summary
The HR Business Partner will assist with answering HR inquiries from employees, HR document management, support the recruiting process, contact candidates and schedule appointments, visit all offices, handle badge creation, process drug and background checks, launch HRIS onboarding, manage I-9 documentation, and provide support to the VP of HR as needed. This position requires the ability to travel to Arizona with the company vehicle a minimum of 4 times a month or as needed for business purposes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating, organizing, and maintaining HR documents, policies, procedures, and employee records.
- Ensure compliance with document retention policies, track document revisions, and support audits as required.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to schedule interviews, coordinate candidate communication, and assist in onboarding new hires.
- Participate in interviews, provide administrative support during the recruitment process, and maintain candidate records.
- Travel to all company offices, as needed, to ensure HR processes and initiatives are implemented consistently across locations.
- Provide HR support, address employee queries, and facilitate communication between offices and HR headquarters.
- Manage the badge creation process for new employees, contractors, and visitors, ensuring security protocols are followed.
- Coordinate to issue, update, and deactivate badges as needed.
- Process drug tests and background checks for new hires and ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling sensitive information related to pre-employment screening.
- Assist in launching HRIS onboarding processes, including setting up new employee accounts, entering data, and providing training to new hires.
- Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for employees, HRIS system adoption, and data accuracy.
- Manage the completion and verification of I-9 forms for new hires, ensuring compliance with federal immigration laws.
- Maintain accurate records, conduct audits, and address discrepancies related to I-9 documentation.
- Assist the VP of HR with special projects, reports, presentations, and other HR initiatives as needed.
- Provide administrative and organizational support to the VP of HR in executing HR strategies and objectives.
Must be able to travel to Arizona a minimum of 4 times a month or as needed using the company vehicle for business purposes.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in document management, recruiting support, onboarding processes, and service oriented environments.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, HR software, and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to Arizona with the company vehicle as needed.
