We are delighted to be partnering with one of the largest global Private Equity firms to support with the hire of a newly created role in their New York office.
Headquartered in Europe, our client's presence in the Americas has grown rapidly over the past 18 months. As a result, they are looking to expand their HR presence on the ground in New York and are looking for a high-potential HR Associate to cover their External Platforms function (including Capital Raising, Corporate Development & Sustainability).
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of the development of a leading organisation, directly supporting some of their most interesting and fast-paced business functions. The projected growth of the office is only forecasted to continue into 2025, meaning the successful candidate will be instrumental in helping our client to achieve their strategic goals over the coming years. Joining as part of a global team, the successful candidate will have a wealth of autonomy in this role as they will be working independently on the ground with senior stakeholders in the business. As the first hire into this function in New York, the scope for progression as the office continues to grow over the years is unparalleled.
Day-to-day work will involve supporting on all generalist HR requirements for the External Platforms teams, including: supporting with recruitment into the business functions and designing recruitment processes, employee relations, talent management, onboarding & offboarding, and compensation & benefits. Your remit would be global, and you would have the opportunity to support on projects for the business functions across Europe and Asia, as well as across the US (with offices in New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, etc).
The ideal candidate will have:
2-3 years of previous HR generalist experience (ideally with previous exposure to both onboarding and offboarding processes, as well as assisting with the writing of and issuing of employment contracts).
Overseeing and co-ordinating multiple simultaneous recruitment projects.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and liaise with senior stakeholders across the business from day one.
Availability to start by August/Early September 2024.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and ambition to work in a fast-paced environment.
