What You Will Do


  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and business needs of the implementation project
  • Identify issues that could hamper a successful project and help recommend and carry out acceptable solutions
  • Communicate project status, issues, and risks to ensure successful system delivery
  • Create the workflow using Magnit’s standard methodology and process
  • Test and validate the accuracy of the worker data needed for implementation in Magnit’s databases
  • Set up and configure client’s validation lists and tables – organizational values, earnings, deductions, etc. per requirements and templates (HR Administration and Payroll Administration)
  • Configure payroll processing tools and applicable payroll functions, VMS solution, time off plans, and other appropriate support needs of the worker and internal stakeholders
  • Verify the look and feel of the testing output of modules and deliverables to ensure it meets the requirements of unit testing (internal testing)
  • Assist in the preparation of the testing strategy and test execution plan for the user acceptance testing of modules and deliverables
  • Achieve client sign off on key deliverables (modules)
  • Partner with all involved parties to ensure successful client go-live and be available to address issues resolution during client stabilization
  • Evaluate and continuously improve the implementation methodology, processes, and procedures
  • Support quality assurance and process documentation and define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities


What You Will Need


  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Bachelor’s Degree desired
  • Minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in HR Administration/HRMS, Payroll, and VMS implementations
  • Positive outlook and attitude with solid technical and problem-solving skills
  • Very well organized, and able to prioritize and make decisions
  • Ability to shift gears quickly and multi-task
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and written to peers and business partners to include strong questioning and listening skills and the ability to look beyond obvious answers to understand the impacts
  • Dedicated to meeting client expectations, acting with them and their worker in mind while maintaining effective stakeholder relationships
  • Show passion for improving the delivery of services with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Anticipate and meet future client needs through effective planning that aligns with our vision, goals, and strategic initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to follow sound business ethics when executing job responsibilities to build and maintain management confidence
  • Understanding of general business issues including external factors that impact the business and industry
  • Possess excellent spreadsheet skills with a concentration on reference, lookup, and logical functions
  • The ability to measure, monitor, and control quality outcomes with strong process management skill working towards defined key performance metrics.
  • Recognizing and resolving complex issues within appropriate timelines and with a sense of urgency
  • Support Change Management and be adaptable to a flexible work environment while keeping focus on meeting defined goals and deliverables.
  • Knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, Python, etc.) is considered a plus
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SAS etc.) is a plus. Adept at queries and report writing is considered a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills including the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and follow up in a timely manner.
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment as well in addition to being able to work independently.


Compensation: The salary will range from $70,000-$80,000 USD annually.

The salary will be based on experience, skills, and geographical location.
