Flow Components and Industrial Supply is a well-established company in the industrial supply industry, specializing in providing a wide range of products to businesses across various sectors. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced B2B Industrial Outside Sales Representative to join our sales team.
As a B2B Industrial Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our valued business-to-business (B2B) customers. You will identify new prospects and actively seek out opportunities to sell our products, ensuring that our customers' needs are met and exceeded. Your exceptional sales skills, combined with your knowledge of industrial products, will be crucial in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets.
This is a field-based position that requires a high level of customer interaction and relationship building. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, have a proven track record in B2B sales, and be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. Knowledge of the PVF or Fluid Sealing Industries is a plus. Salary is based on experience with one of these 2 industries.
Responsibilities
Identify and acquire new B2B customers through various sales strategies, including cold calling, networking, and referrals
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing B2B customers to ensure customer loyalty and satisfaction
Understand customers' needs and provide appropriate product recommendations and solutions
Meet or exceed sales targets and goals
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective customers
Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both the customer and the company
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the company's CRM system
Collaborate with internal teams, such as customer service and product management, to address customer concerns and ensure a smooth sales process
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the industrial supply industry
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and goals
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to understand and effectively communicate technical product information to customers
Proficient in using CRM software and sales reporting tools
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Willingness to travel within assigned territory
