As an Information Technology Administrator, you will be the first line contact for IT related issues at the company. You will be a point of contact for employees to provide help desk/technical support and troubleshooting. You will have the opportunity to support novel engineering and R&D projects. This is a challenging position that requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, a passion for technology and being a team player, and dedication to quality to positively impact the future of energy!
Responsibilities
Provide IT Help Desk support and be an IT resourcefor all employees at Xcimer
POC and administrator of Microsoft Azure and Office 365
Setup/configure machines and workspaces for new employees
Monitor and maintain the company network and internal services
Define and document company IT policies
Develop security policies and oversee their implementation
Develop training documentation and material to communicate IT policies and onboard new hires
Manage licensed software and administer company license servers
Create user accounts and perform access control
Configure reliable back-up and archiving systems for company data
Work closely with software and hardware engineering teams to ensure smooth operations
Collaborate with finance team to communicate requirements and costs, assist with the purchasing of software and equipment
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as an IT systems administrator
Experience with help desk support
Experience as an IT administrator for Microsoft Entra and Microsoft 365
Experience managing Microsoft Exchange, Teams, OneDrive and InTune
Working knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security
Familiarity with Windows and Mac OS systems administration
Excellent technical and interpersonal communication
Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment
A positive attitude, with a customer service-oriented approach and a passion for working with people
Ability to earn trust, influence others, and maintain positive and professional relationships
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee of granted asylum
Desired
Associate’s degree in information technology, information systems, or related fields
Experience with CD/CI and git version control
Ability to set up automated workflows as scheduled scripts or batch jobs
Previous experience with NIST 800-171 or other security focused standard
