Information Technology Manager

Job Description

We are currently looking for an Information Technology Manager to lead our I.T. department. The primary purpose of the Information Technology Manager within the Information Technology Department is to oversee all operations and ensure the success of the company. The person in this position performs Information Technology Manager duties with responsibilities to include but are not limited to the following tasks:

Responsibilities

  • Manages the Information Technology Department in accordance with organizational policies and goals.
  • Helps business operations utilize information systems to improve efficiency.
  • Oversees computer hardware and software upgrades to meet organizational needs proactively.
  • Provides company training relevant to the technology at hand.
  • Proactively researches new and emerging technologies.
  • Identify root cause issues in systems and processes and provide recommendations to overcome them
  • Accomplishes financial objectives for the department by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective action.
  • Responsible for all purchases within the department and Vendor relationships for Software, Hardware, and network to ensure optimal service and savings.
  • Proactively negotiates new contracts for I.T. related services.
  • Performs and supervises annual reviews, IT staff recruiting, and coaching employees.
  • Proactive duty cycle reviews of key IT components.
  • All workers may be required to visit a construction site at some time during employment.
  • Regular travel to remote offices and jobsites.

Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree and or at least 10+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, both on-prem and hybrid via Microsoft Azure
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra Admin Center including SSO integration
  • Working knowledge with Data harvesting and manipulation via Microsoft Power BI
  • Industry recognized certifications highly sought.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks.
  • May lead and direct the work of others.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Reports directly to the Controller and top level management.
