The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing a diverse range of IT projects, including Merger & Acquisitions, DeNovo, Conversions, Network & Infrastructure, Information Security, Systems Implementations and/or Integrations, and Software Development. This role requires strong leadership skills, proficiency in project management tools, and the ability to manage project schedules in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Primary Responsibilities

Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and milestones, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Project Management: Lead and manage multiple IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals.

Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative environment and driving team performance.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Technical Expertise: Apply a solid understanding of IT principles and practices to guide project teams and make informed decisions.

Proficiency in Tools: Utilize project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, FreshService, or Asana to manage project schedules, tasks, and reporting.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk logs.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices in IT project management.


Education/Experience Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: 5+ years of experience managing IT projects, with a strong track record of delivering successful outcomes.

Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and information security principles.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Proficiency in Tools: Strong experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, FreshService, or Asana.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

Change Management: Extensive experience in leading and managing organizational change initiatives, ensuring successful adoption and minimal disruption.
