🌟 We are proud to annouce that InductiveHealth has offically submitted our comments for the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) entitled “Health Data, Technology and Interoperability: Patient Engagement, Information Sharing, and Public Health Interoperability Proposed Rule (HTI-2)” by The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC)! We are excited to make our submission avilable to you on our website at www.inductivehealth.com next week! 💻 As advocates for the Public Health technology market and our Public Health clients and partners, we know how impactful commenting opportunities such as these can be. The chance to lend a voice and expertise to the community are key opportunities we believe must be taken full advantage of and given high emphasis across public health community members. Before the end of the day, we wanted to send out a reminder to submit comments for the HTI-2 proposed rule directly to the Federal Register by today's deadline of 5 PM EST and make your voice heard! ✍✍ Together, we can #stopdiseasethroughtechnology! #InductiveHealth #HTI2 #ONC #PublicComments

In September 2023, InductiveHealth submitted a letter for comment to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee, outlining nine critical recommendations to enhance surveillance and public health infrastructure. Our letter emphasized the underutilization of syndromic surveillance, the need for expanded research and development in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) tools, and the importance of centralizing efforts on data modernization through the National Syndromic Surveillance Program (NSSP). Just a year later, our team is starting to see the positive impacts of those submitted ideas and recommendations. Congress has an enhanced strategic focus and interest in both public health and surveillance topics. We’ve also seen increases in 2024 funding for disease and syndromic surveillance across multiple federal departments 👏👏. To find out more about InductiveHealth’s 2023 Senate HELP Committee proposal and the impacts of it, please check out our white paper here: https://lnkd.in/epYu4gEN or explore our other resources at: https://lnkd.in/eXNvnfda. ✨ Participating in the process and being constant advocates for both the Public Health technology market and our Public Health clients and partners is incredibly important to the InductiveHealth mission. The chance to lend a voice and expertise to the community, such as this Senate HELP Committee letter, are key opportunities we believe must be taken full advantage of and given high emphasis across public health community members. HTI-2 Proposed Ruling is open now. It’s yet another opportunity to contribute and move the community forward. We encourage our clients and partners to submit comments to the HTI-2 proposed rule directly to the Federal Register by the deadline of October 4th, 2024 and to participate in the ongoing public health conversation! ✍✍ #InductiveHealth #StopDiseaseThroughTechnology
