Inside Sales Manager

About the role: A full-timepositionmanaging, prospecting, and developing all protein sales activities in assigned West territory by driving sales initiatives with program partner customers in all sales channels for the Meyer Natural Foods brand portfolio of Laura’s Lean Products, Meyer Natural Beef & Pork, and MNF private label brands.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Sales and Account Management

  • Maintain a good working relationship with key accounts to ensure increased year-over-year sales growth
  • Develop new accounts that show measurable sales growth
  • Use product and market knowledge to generate sales within a designated territory
  • Contact key accounts to discuss programs and products and ensure they align with the company and customer’s strategic short-term & long-term goals
  • Build business strategies targeting accounts that drive sales
  • Responsible for updating customers concerning market and customer trends regularly
  • Responsible for opportunity list and out-front availability list based on weekly availability

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work cross-functionally with other regional sales team members, transportation teams, scheduling, pricing, and margin management to finance and maximize company revenue
  • Regularly work with MNF sales teams concerning on-time deliveries, offers, bids, contracts, product shortages, and sales order status
  • This position works out of the Loveland office, with occasional customer travel
  • Conduct product cutting and seminars as needed to demonstrate and merchandise the value of MNF products
  • Provide weekly written recaps & updates to the sales & leadership team
  • Keep current on administrative duties and sales plans
  • Other duties as assigned

Do you have this reduction and experience?

  • Associate degree or combination of experience and education is required
  • 4+ years of experience in beef and/or pork sales management and supplier relationship management is required

Do you have the right stuff?

  • Must be a driver of profitable sales
  • Strong understanding of protein operations, product specification & distribution systems
  • Strong understanding all local/national competitors in assigned territory
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Traveling may be required for up to 25%while working from Loveland, CO office
  • Ability to lead and operate in sales teams

Total Rewards: 65,000 to $80,000 annually (DOE)
