Responsibilities:
Complete Patient Registrations
Process registration including confirming insurance and patient information.
Update patient information as necessary, document current health insurance information and review/update patient demographics.
Research each patient entry to ensure that only one patient record exists by matching designated criteria in client’s database.
Identify duplicate patients and complete patient merge requests following client established guidelines set forth in the Operations Documents
Work on charge review, claim edit work queues and any other work queues related to setting up patient accurately.
Answer voice calls to provide good faith estimates to patients.
Call the payer to get coverage and eligibility information.
Role:
With at least one (1) year of customer service experience (non-voice / back office) in the BPO industry in Healthcare Domain
Background in supporting Back Office transactions or Chat / Email is an advantage (but not required) with good communication skills.
High level of navigation skills and ability to work using multiple computer systems.
Fast learning curve with new technologies, products, processes
Must be available for a regular schedule of 40 hours a week, one that spans weekends and holidays as our customers need us. Shifts may include evening or early morning hours, and/or on a rotational basis; and should also be available to work overtime due to business needs.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a unique ability to manage stress.
Working Knowledge of EPIC is a must.
