Our client is looking for trained metrology technicians who can perform inspection surveys using Laser tracker, Creaform Metrascan, Laser radar, and GSI photogrammetry (D850).
Integration Engineering Technicians should have relevant experience in SA (Spatial Analyzer) such that they can complete surveys independently using survey instructions/templates/MPs.
Some tasks will require work without written instruction/methodology (emergent work), in such cases technicians will work with personnel to fulfill survey requirements.
Survey goals/key features will be provided in writing for either scenario.
Technicians should have experience making reports in SA or Microsoft Excel from survey data.
Report templates/previous reports will be provided as a guide.
Technicians should have expertise in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and applying GD&T to capture data that will fulfill survey requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Integration Engineering Technician is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating laser trackers
Manual layout using design data to inspect machined, made, and received components.
Perform first-article inspections
Perform in-process, final, and receiving inspections.
Provide feedback to machinists, technicians, and engineers with dimensional data.
Document, track, and complete discrepancy reports.
In addition, there will be times when the supplier will need to provide inspection time estimates.
Maintain and track all inspection equipment calibrations.
Support process improvement initiatives.
Maintain configuration control on files and job records
