Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal - Remote | WFH

Are you an experienced litigation paralegal with a passion for intellectual property law? We are looking for a dedicated and skilled paralegal to join our dynamic and growing IP litigation team. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home.

About The Role

As a Paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting our litigation team by managing case files, preparing documents, and communicating with clients and opposing counsel. Your expertise in federal court procedures and intellectual property litigation will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• File documents with federal courts, adhering to specific court rules.
• Proofread and format documents for filing or service in various jurisdictions.
• Draft initial versions of simple legal documents, such as proposed orders and notices of motions.
• Manage and organize case files, including electronic and physical documents, correspondence, and exhibits.
• Coordinate document production and e-discovery, ensuring compliance with court rules and deadlines.
• Schedule and manage third-party services, such as court reporters and process servers.
• Maintain and update the case management database, tracking deadlines and schedules.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the litigation process.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a strong preference for experience in intellectual property litigation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to navigate and understand local rules for different federal jurisdictions.
  
  

Position Details

• Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (Part-time may transition to full-time after 3 months).
• Salary:
• Part-Time: $30-$40 per hour (based on experience).
• Full-Time: $65,000 - $85,000 per year (based on experience).
• Benefits: Competitive salary, collaborative work environment, and fully remote work.
• Availability: For part-time, a minimum commitment of 4 hours daily, Monday through Friday, between 9:00am-6:00pm (Pacific Time) is required.
