Interim Social Media & Content/Community Director (Minimum 2 months)

DUNE Suncare is seeking an experienced and dynamic interim Social Media & Content/Community Director to fill in during our employee's maternity leave. This role will be crucial in maintaining and elevating our brand's presence across social media platforms and managing our content strategy. The ideal candidate will have a scrappy, self-starting mindset with a clear focus on achieving sales goals and driving engagement.

Summary: Highly Organized, Connected, and Resourceful Social Media & Content Manager. Advanced skills in all aspects of Social Media, Digital Marketing, Copywriting, Social Media Strategy & Management, and Content Creation. Holds a Passion for the beauty industry and strong interest in the digital space. Effective interpersonal communications with strong written and verbal skills.

Qualifications:

• Candidate should have a deep understanding and proficiency of social media, content creation, and management of social media platforms to increase brand awareness, loyalty, and engagement to support sales goals
• Candidate should be able to take an idea from conception to execution, engaging with key partners and resources along the way
• Candidates should be on the cusp of social innovation—always ahead of what’s next, and trends within social and digital, have a deep-seated passion for social media and understand consumer habits within all demographics/age groups
• Candidates should have strong creative writing and verbal communication skills and knowledge and interest in the digital media space
• Candidate should be a creative, innovative, and team-player type who is always thinking outside of the box and is resolution-oriented - must also have a great sense of humor! :)
• Experience hiring & managing junior executives and/or interns is a plus
  
  

Scope of Work:

• Manage DUNE SUNCARE’s social media platforms including, but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Youtube - across strategy building & implementation, asset & calendar creation, copywriting, and management of all inbound & customer inquiries
• Support Co-Founders with creative & strategic brand vision - must have a pulse on cultural trends, take an interest in design to drive consumer engagement, have a consumer-first mindset, be data-oriented, and have a knowledge of & take interest in the evolving consumer and social landscape to help keep the brand at the forefront of & competitive in the digital world
• Support Co-Founders in establishing, further developing, and supporting in the creation of assets, including digital ads
• Lead creative brainstorms and content/campaign ideation based on current social media trends
• Oversee weekly digital newsletters across ideation, creation, write copy, and deployment on Klaviyo, incollaboration with Co-Founders
• Oversee the production of all video/photoshoots for brand campaigns & new product launches. SupportCo-Founders in written creative brief, casting, and on-site management
• Spearhead internal UGC partnerships: oversee all UGC paid/organic partnerships, inclusive of outreach, briefing, contractual agreement management, budgeting, and content placement to increase impressions, engagement, and traffic to digital brand platforms
• Secure and nurture brand / media / influencer relationships to help support all digital marketing, promotional, PR, in-person meetings & event initiatives
