Job Title: IT Strategy Consultant (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the district's educational and operational goals.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of current IT systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide expert advice on emerging technologies and their potential impact on the district.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable IT plans.
  • Develop and manage IT project portfolios, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that enhance teaching, learning, and administrative processes.
  • Monitor industry trends and advancements to inform strategic planning.
  • Prepare and present strategic plans, proposals, and reports to senior management and the school board.
  • Provide guidance on IT governance, risk management, and compliance issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in IT strategy development and implementation, preferably within the education sector.
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management and IT governance.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build consensus.
  • Experience in strategic planning tools and methodologies.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
