JR SQL DEVELOPER

Overview

As a Junior SQL Developer, you will be an integral part of our technology team, contributing to the design, development and maintenance of our database systems. Your primary focus will be on writing efficient SQL queries, ensuring data integrity and collaborating with other team members to enhance our applications.

Responsibilities

Database Design and Implementation: Create and modify database structures, including tables, views, stored procedures and functions. Optimize database schema for performance and scalability.

SQL Query Writing: Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve, update and manipulate data. Ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve database related issues promptly. Address data integrity,k performance and functionality problems.

Collaboration: Work closely with developers, business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements. Participate in cross functional teams to deliver high quality solutions.

Performance Monitoring and Tuning: Monitor database perforce metrics. Make necessary adjustments to enhance efficiency.

Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect sensitive data. Ensure compliance with privacy regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
• Proficiency in SQ: and relational database concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Integration Services
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerBi
• Familiarity with database management systems (DBMS) such as MySQL, SQL Server or Oracle
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• knowledge of database indexing, normalization and optimization
• Experience with ETL processes and data migration
