Junior Data Analyst


Type: Contract (3-6 months with Right-to-Hire)

Start Date: 9/30/24

Work Setting: Remote (AZ, FL, GA, IN, KY, NC, SC, TX)


The Jr. Data Analyst handles client exceptions and escalations, performs data analysis, and interfaces with peers and internal technical contacts. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, a team-oriented and adaptable nature, and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships. The Jr. Data Analyst contributes to company profitability through personal productivity and efficient resource use.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Resolve data exceptions, validations, and field escalations from batch and API traffic.
  • Update patient and insurance information for accuracy.
  • Communicate technical issues and resolutions with team members and leadership.
  • Interpret, analyze, filter, and clean data.
  • Identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Collaborate with management on business and process improvements.
  • Adhere to program policies and procedures.
  • Analyze data to solve moderate scope problems within standard procedures.
  • Document and maintain business and functional requirements.
  • Maintain user confidence and protect business information confidentiality.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and demonstrate creative problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Productivity Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience auditing and reconciling records.
  • Quality monitoring and exception corrections.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Technological proficiency and ability to access data portals.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry, specialty pharma, and patient therapy methods.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.


Schedule:

  • Flexible schedule and hours.
  • Some travel may be required.
