Junior Electronics Engineer

Company Description

Zebra Analytix, Inc is currently seeking a dynamic Electrical Engineer to support a defined project. The person for this role will work closely with, and report to, the Senior Electrical Engineer (SEE) serving as the primary engineer and laborer for the project. The ideal candidate will have previous engineering experience and a proven track record for completing designated milestones in accordance with a strict project timeline. The main work for this role is electrical system design, PCB layout and system testing plus control software development. Practical knowledge of the manufacturing and design of scientific instruments is a plus.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the SEE in keeping with the vision outlined for the project.
  • Help with the development and verification of test methods.
  • Aid in the development of detailed test procedures needed to be performed.
  • Collect, compile, analyze, and interpret the results and data to project requirements.
  • Review test data for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to completion.
  • Assist in the presentation of project results orally and in written form.
  • Represent the company as required, including attendance at important meetings.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • At least 2 years of circuit design, testing, evaluation, and reporting.
  • Circuit analysis and problem solving.
  • Embedded programming and windows programming experience.
  • Highly motivated self-starters with a strong desire to learn.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in engineering.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience.
  • Cross-platform software development.
  • AutoCAD 2D experience.
  • Knowledge of chromatography.
  • Previous exposure to scientific instrument design and manufacturing.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including schematics, assembly drawings, and process instructions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality non-conformances.
