Junior Graphic Designer

• Work with the Designer and Art Director to support the design team with both creative and technical tasks
• Create art cads, make art revisions, and help prepare artwork for sampling and production
• Must be able to prepare artwork for screenprinters including calling out all treatments and colors, sizing artwork and creating pattern placements.
• Create graphics for both boys and girls licensed apparel
• Apparel categories include graphic tees, as well as key item fashion pieces such as cosplay hoodies, and sets. 
• Licensed designs need to keep within licensor guidelines.
• Artists need to keep in mind the price point and practicality of producing all artwork created.
• Artists should be up to date on trends, and shop the market for the latest and greatest ideas and freshness.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of graphic design experience.
• Ideal candidate will have experience designing graphics for apparel or a similar industry.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
• Must be able to work in NYC office
