Title: Junior QA Tester

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 Months

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes test scripts/cases based on business and/or functional requirements.
• Creates detailed test plans, including test scenarios, test steps, and expected results for all functional requirements of the application under test.
• Identifying, reporting, documenting, and tracking defect/bug issues
• Validating that the user expectations are achieved during the testing process. Capturing analyzing and summarizing test results
• Assisting with documenting product functionality for both internal and external users
• Work with development, business analysts, QA team to determine appropriate fixes to identified bugs and ensure the timely completion of deliverables.
  
  

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent field is required.
• 1+ years of experience in testing is required with a good understanding of the software development lifecycle and proficient QA methodologies.
• Understanding or experience with testing web and client/server applications, Salesforce applications, etc.
• Quick learner, with some knowledge of manual testing and a willingness to learn automation testing later; ability to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment.
