Lead Business Analyst

Position Title: Lead Business Analyst

The Lead BA will work on multiple programs/systems simultaneously for the Client Digital Technology (DT) Safety & Security Team.

The Lead BA will interact with all members of the project team including architects, system analysts, project managers, developers, quality control leadership and S&S Senior Leadership.

The Lead BA will be expected to:

• Understand the business needs of Client Safety, Corporate Security and Client Police (APD)
• Develop strategies to extract functional business requirements from business units
• Provide QA testing support activities to include but not limited to functional testing support, test case development, test orchestration
• Lead requirements gathering sessions/meetings with functional business subject matter experts
• Document all business, functional and technical requirements for S&S project teams; this is inclusive but limited to Requirements Specification, Use Cases, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
• Develop detailed process documentation documenting current and future state business and technical processes
• Become proficient with BA related PMLP delivery documentation
• Participate in weekly meetings with project and S&S teams
• Provide functional testing surge support with development teams as needed or required
  
  

Lead BA Qualifications & Requirements:

• Collaborative and proactive personality
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business or related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience documenting functional and technical business requirements
• Demonstrated track record of effective problem-solving required
• Demonstrated experience documenting system functional and technical requirements
• Strong oral, verbal, and written communication skills required

Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen’s client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.***
