Yesterday was a fist pump kind of day! We enjoyed showcasing D&G’s support to USTRANSCOM, DLA, the USCG, and several other customers. Booth visitors, including General Randall Reed, engaged with some of D&G’s amazing leaders. Visitors also had the opportunity to participate in our Tree of Hope Charity Challenge. At this year's National Defense Transportation Association Headquarters (NDTA)Fall Meeting, we invite you to help us build a tree that represents the hope, dreams, and amazing work of the selected charities. Vote in person @NDTA by writing the name of your favorite charity on a colorful leaf and placing it on our Tree of Hope. Votes must be received by Wednesday, October 9th at 1030 CST. The winner will be announced at 1200 CST.   D&G pledges to make a minimum donation of $250 to each charity. For the charity with the most votes, D&G pledges to donate a minimum of $2,500. A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support and participate in the Dulles Day Plane Pull. Our team of 27 took on the challenge of pulling an 82-ton FedEx Airbus A320, accomplishing the feat in an impressive 9.6 seconds! This is especially remarkable given that we had one of the lighter total team body weights—a true David and Goliath moment, proving that we’re small but mighty. We’re proud to have taken part in such a great event and to contribute to raising a total of $580,000 for Special Olympics Virginia.
